St. Thomas More 38 - Blue Star Country Classic: Mahomet-Seymour (3A) 25

The girls defeated Mahomet-Seymour tonight by a score of 38-25. The Sabers held the Bulldogs to just 4 points in the first half of the game and were led by Maggie Fitzgerald who had her second double double of the year scoring 18 points and pulling in 12 rebounds. Brittany Einck hit 2 three pointers for the Sabers making her the all time three point leader in program history surpassing Whitney Sullivan ('08). The Sabers, now 5-0 will face off against 4-0 Centennial in what will be the championship game of Blue Star Basketball's Country Classic.
