The girls defeated Pana in the quarterfinals of the State Farm Holiday Classic 42-39. Despite a shooting a dismall 9-23 from the free throw line, the Sabers created 23 turnovers to help themselves advance. Maggie Fitzgerald had 19 points, and Lisa Clarkson had 9 points. The Sabers double double streak ended with Fitzgerald, Brittany Einck, and Jade Brinkoetter each hauling in 5 rebounds. The streak was 15 straight games with at least one player collecting a double double.
