St. Thomas More 49 - Mahomet-Seymour JV Tourn: Centennial 50
The girls lost in a heartbreaker to Centennial 49-50 losing at the buzzer. Freshman Elayna Kramer hit two free throws to put the Sabers up two points with less than a minute to play. The Sabers played great defense and forced the Chargers to put up an airball with five seconds left! The outlet pass off of the rebound was deflected into Centennials hands and they converted a last second 3 pointer to win the game. It was a hard fought game by both teams. STM was led by Freshman Erica Wallen with 13 points and Freshman Elayna Kramer with 10 points. Sophomore Carley Buetow and Junior Jenny Crull each chipped in 6 points as well.
