St. Thomas More 52 - Momence 28

The girls defeated Momence tonight 52-28 to extend their conference record to 3-0 and 10-1 overall. After allowing 13 points in the first quarter the Sabers defense became stingy only allowing 15 more points the rest of the game. Gina Hinders had a double double scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Maggie Fitzgerald had 14 points, and Lisa Clarkson had 10 points and 3 steals for the Sabers. Miranda Becker had a great all around night having 7 assists and 5 steals. This win marked Coach Mennig's 100th career win at STM.
