Varsity Girls Basketball - January 17
St. Thomas More 65 - SVC Tournament: 2A #15:St. Joseph-Ogden 33
The girls basketball team advanced to the SVC Tournament Championship game tonight defeating 2A #15 ranked St. Joseph-Ogden 65-33. Jade Brinkoetter led the Sabers with 16 1st half points. Lexi Wallen secured a double-double
scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tori McCoy chipped in 15 points
going 7-8 from the field.
The girls will face #18 ranked Watseka in the Championship tomorrow night at 7pm at Parkland College as they go for their 6th title in 9 years participating this event.
