Coach Mennig’s 100th Win Game Ball
The girls defeated Momence tonight 52-28 to start out 10-1 on the season. After allowing 13 points in the first quarter the Sabers defense became stingy only allowing 15 more points the rest of the game. Gina Hinders had a double double scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Maggie Fitzgerald had 14 points, and Lisa Clarkson had 10 points and 5 steals for the Sabers. Following the game to commemorate Coach Mennig’s 100th win the girls gave him a signed basketball.
